Have you ever wondered, what is God's will is for my life? To answer that question I would go to the Bible. God's infallible word.
The answer is in the beginning. Genesis 1:27 “so God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” God created man and woman for a specific purpose. First of all to worship and love him with all of our heart, soul and strength (Deuteronomy 6:4) and to love one another (I John 3:11). Man and woman were created differently and given certain roles and responsibilities that are constant and do not change. (Genesis 3:16,17, Deuteronomy 22:5) God’s plan for man and woman is to be saved and inherit eternal life (2 Peter 3:9) God also has a plan for man and woman in this life (I Thessalonians 4:3). God's plan for man and woman is to be married! Yes, that may sound crazy, but it is true (I Corinthians 7:2). God hates divorce and commands that marriages stay together until death. (Malachi 2:16, Mark 10:9-12, Romans 7:1-3).
Because God's will is for man and woman to be married he also gives us detailed instruction on how marriage and family should function. Man and Woman have different roles and responsibilities. The man is the leader and head of the wife and is responsible for everything.(Ephesians 5:23, I Corinthians 11:3, Deuteronomy 22:5). The husband should love and rule his wife and children. Wives and children should submit to and love their husband/father. (Genesis 3:17, I Timothy 3:12, Tutus 2:4, Colossians 3:18). Man should also work and provide for his family (1 Thessalonians 4:11, 2 Thessalonians 3:10-15, I Timothy 5:8). The woman has different roles and responsibilities. It is God's will for the woman to be a keeper at home (Titus 2:4-5, I Timothy 5:14). The woman should not try to usurp or supplant man's position and authority. (I Timothy 2:12, I Corinthians 14:34, Genesis 3:16-17, Deuteronomy 22:5). Man should be a man, and the woman should be a woman. God created us different. If we rebel against God's plan we rebel against God. It is God's will for the woman to marry, have children and raise them at home. (Titus 2:4-5, I Timothy 5:14, Proverbs 22:6).
This would exclude the woman from working outside of the home. A woman's calling is to be at home with her children and to be a help to her husband. (Genesis 2:18, Titus 2:4-5). Women should not be teachers, doctors, nurses, lawyers, policemen, war heroes, accountants or any other occupation that would remove them from their God given responsibilities at home. It is mans job to work and provide. This is God's plan and has been since the beginning of time.

The world's plan has become more popular in the last 100 years but it is polar opposite to God's plan. If we listen to the world and follow the way of the world we will have the same outcome. Fornication, abortion, divorce, adultery, and every other sin and abomination God hates. If we follow God's plan we have love, joy, peace, and we can inherit the Kingdom of God. I believe most of the problems in this country and around the world are the result of people that have forsaken God and His plan for marriage and family. If people cannot keep their families together and love one another, how can we love our neighbors or our enemies as Jesus commands us? We should get back to the basics and follow God's plan for man, woman, marriage, and family.
